Getting started
Quick start
Create a Studio Project and complete a capture, edit, delivery, and review run.
Capture Studio 26.8.5Unity 6000.0+Built-in · URP · HDRPEditor onlyOffline first
- Open Tools > Kiwi Studios > Capture Studio.
- In Capture, choose Create Studio Project and save it under
Assets. - Select the generated Capture Plan and its first shot.
- Assign a scene and choose Game View, a targeted camera, RenderTexture, 360, movie, image sequence, audio, or HDRP AOV as appropriate.
- Set warm-up, stable-ready duration, timeout, retry, locale, quality, state, and output profile values.
- Choose Preview expanded plan. Review every queue item and final take destination. Preview does not change editor state.
- Choose Start complete run. The Run Center stays visible across workspaces and domain reloads.
- In Edit, relink or explicitly import media, arrange tracks and clips, and render frame previews.
- In Deliver, review the project’s pinned catalog revision, preflight, and render the maintained variants you kept in the project.
- In Review, inspect decoded opening, middle, and closing frames, hashes, warnings, and the restoration receipt.
The generated Studio Project is a starting point, not hidden state. Plans, shots, sequences, tracks, clips, and profiles are ordinary YAML-serializable assets with stable identities and Undo/Redo.
Still stuck?
Bring the run receipt with you.
Include the Capture Studio version, Unity version, operating system, render pipeline, Recorder version, output profile, receipt, restoration status, and a minimal reproduction.
