Review supported Unity editors, pipelines, platforms, codecs, and Recorder limitations.
Capture Studio targets Unity 6000.0.0f1 and newer supported Unity 6 releases. Release eligibility is tied to exact candidate bytes, not source-only or historical receipts.
Required release matrix
The final candidate must pass all 108 combinations formed by:
- Unity
6000.0.0f1,6000.0.79f1, and the latest stable observed at freeze, currently6000.5.10f1 - Windows, macOS, and Linux editors
- Built-in, URP, and HDRP
- Localization absent and present
- domain reload enabled and disabled
The matrix uses Recorder 5.1.6, Timeline 1.8.13, Localization 1.5.12 where supported, and the Unity 6 render-pipeline package line matched to each editor. Each case records the operating system, editor version, pipeline, optional-package state, domain-reload state, source inventory, exact UPM/Core archive hashes, test result, and source commit.
Unity 6000.4.0f1 is retained as supplemental installed-editor evidence. Forward alpha evidence is informative only and cannot replace stable release evidence.
Current status
The source implementation and deterministic artifact path pass ordinary CI. Release Core 26.8.5 is an exact verified bundled internal snapshot, not a standalone release dependency. The complete release matrix remains blocked until the bundled-source candidate is rebuilt and the required Windows, Linux, minimum-line, and latest-stable release hosts are available. releaseEligible therefore remains false.
Capture Studio is editor-only. Recorder-backed capture and Timeline integration require the declared package dependencies. Localization remains optional; absent and present states are both release gates.
