- Open Tools > Kiwi Studios > Asset Swap.
- Drag the persistent source and target asset or sub-asset into a mapping row.
- Add more mappings if needed. All mappings use simultaneous snapshot semantics:
A → BandB → Cturns original A references into B and original B references into C. - Keep the default
Assetsscope or add explicit include and exclude folders with the keyboard-friendly fields or removable folder chips. - Run Preview. Resolve every blocked finding.
- Filter by path, type, adapter, or status; then Ping, Open, and select the exact occurrences to change.
- Review the file/reference/warning summary and confirm Apply and Verify.
- Keep the transaction receipt. Use durable Undo from the Apply stage if the completed swap must be restored.
The source assets remain in the project. Deleting or deprecating them is a separate user decision after downstream validation.
Import the Guided Safe Swap sample for a disposable reference graph that demonstrates nested, list, and hidden serialized fields.
