Optional integrations
Use Addressables, Timeline, and Localization support without forced dependencies or absent-package errors.
Optional integrations compile in separate editor assemblies controlled by package version defines and assembly constraints. Asset Swap never installs an integration dependency.
Addressables
Supported from Addressables 2.7.6 through the declared compatible major range. Typed AssetReference GUID and sub-object names are updated together. If the target is not addressable, Preview explains that Apply will add it to the source group with a unique address and copied labels; the source entry remains.
Timeline
Timeline assets and their clip/track sub-assets are inspected as structured owners. Object-reference curves and exposed defaults retain their binding data. PlayableDirector scene bindings are covered by the scene adapter.
Localization
Localized asset-table entries are replaced by exact GUID and sub-asset name. Table collection, locale, key ID, key name, and metadata structure remain unchanged. Typed table/entry references continue to point at the same logical localized entry.
The Capabilities foldout and exported evidence always report Supported or Unavailable honestly for the current project.
